Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Proton Therapy Installation and Maintenance Expert to join our team. As a key member of our installation and maintenance team, you will be responsible for:

• Participating in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IBA systems, equipment, and technical tools on Proton Therapy sites
• Ensuring the highest quality of state-of-the-art technologies and services, representing IBA with your expertise
• Delivering final, reliable working products within defined timelines, meeting quality, performance, and customer satisfaction requirements
• Maintaining Proton Therapy equipment and systems according to maintenance schedules
• Troubleshooting equipment and systems, taking necessary actions to solve problems
• Training customers to use equipment/systems properly and safely, counseling them on available spare parts and upgrades
• Documenting and reporting interventions and actions undertaken, with required details and accuracy
• Installing equipment/systems according to planning, timelines, procedures, and operating processes
• Debugging and reporting bugs to the Development Team, testing equipment/systems according to specifications

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A degree in Engineering, preferably Electro-Mechanics, Electronics, Physics, or equivalent by experience
• First experience in complex electronics/electrical system troubleshooting (preferred)
• Experience in several of the following fields: Electromagnetics, control systems, regulation loops, sensors, high voltage equipment, low voltage equipment, Mechanics, Physics (strong asset)
• Good oral skills in Japanese and English, given the international context
