Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and support user-friendly software for efficient analysis of high-quality experimental data generated at synchrotron radiation beamlines
• Design, implement, test, debug, upgrade, and manage versions of data analysis and data collection software
• Develop software systems for collecting, storing, structuring, and managing experimental data
• Collaborate with internal data-structuring teams to adapt data formats and workflows based on project needs
• Develop and support software for
  automation of measurements
  , including autonomous measurement systems
• Build and manage databases and software to support
  facility and equipment sharing
• Improve efficiency of information collection related to shared research facilities
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, manuals, and reports
• Support software maintenance and participate in meetings and cross-department coordination

Technical Skills Required:

• Python (application-level programming)
• Linux-based systems experience
• Software development for data analysis and measurement equipment control
• Data collection, structuring, and database management
• Measurement automation and workflow development
• Version control and software lifecycle management
• Technical documentation and reporting (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Education:

• Master's degree or higher
  in an information-related field
• University-level coursework in
  Electrical Engineering
  (undergraduate or graduate level)
