Our client, a Fortune 150 technology company listed on the NYSE, is seeking a Tax & Financial Reporting Senior Accountant for their innovative food delivery service in Japan.

This role offers the opportunity to take on broader responsibilities in financial operations, including payments processing, general ledger management, and tax compliance.

The position offers a competitive salary of 10-12 million JPY.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and arrange payments for operations
  • Oversee preparation and posting of journal entries
  • Support tax filings and coordinate with tax advisors
  • Monitor accounts payable for timely processing
  • Provide financial data analysis for business decisions
  • Assist with monthend and yearend closing processes
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Supervise and guide team members

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • CPA or USCPA holder
  • 5+ years of accounting experience in multinational environment
  • Solid understanding of Japanese GAAP and tax regulations
  • Businesslevel proficiency in English and Japanese
  • Experience with accounting/ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
  • Experience in financial data analysis and reporting
