    • Key responsibilities:

  • Advise businesses on HR operations and policies.
  • Manage programs that support the business plan and HR strategy.
  • Recommend change initiatives and activities for specific client groups.
  • Ensure proper execution of actions resulting from organizational re-design.
  • Assist in developing reward strategies for client businesses, linking reward and recognition to performance and potential.
  • Support talent management programs, including performance management, coaching, training, career development, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Provide guidance to business stakeholders about the importance of colleague engagement and drive actions to improve this in collaboration with the business.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR services and collaborate with other HR Centers of Excellence.
  • Implement changes to enhance service to People Managers.

    • What you need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • More than 5 years' HR generalist or HR business partner experience.
  • Working knowledge of Japan's employment ordinance and labour requirements is a must.
  • A good understanding of HR processes and operations.
  • A team player with a hands-on approach.
  • A good understanding of HR best practices and compliance in Japan. Prior experience in supporting managers with employee relations cases including investigations and administration of hearings.
  • The ability to coach People Managers in the business effectively through all aspects of the employee life cycle.
  • Effective communication, negotiation and influencing skills to deal effectively with colleagues in all parts of the organization.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a matrix environment and fast paced environment.
  • Written and spoken English and Japanese language skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
