Sushi L'Abysse Osaka Yannick Alléno is a premier sushi restaurant located on the 37th floor, offering an innovative omakase experience, with strong knowledge of wine and sake, which blends French culinary vision with traditional Edomae sushi craftsmanship.
We are looking for a skillful Supervisor/Captain who can support daily operations with strong leadership on the floor, exceptional guest engagement, and advanced knowledge of wine, sake, and spirits at our iconic restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth service flow in a luxury omakase dining environment.
Supervise restaurant service team during lunch and dinner shifts
Ensure world-class hospitality and service standards are upheld
Assist in coordinating guest seating, special requests, and private dining
Support training and development of service staff in luxury service protocols
Facilitate communication between front-of-house, kitchen, and management
Address guest inquiries and feedback with professionalism
Oversee restaurant setup, cleanliness, and readiness each service
Monitor compliance with dress code, hygiene, and safety standards
What You Bring
Strong knowledge on Wine, Spirit & Japanese Sake is preferable
Experience in luxury restaurant or high-end hotel F&B operations
Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills
Guest-first mindset with attention to detail and quality
Familiarity with fine dining service standards and Japanese/Western hospitality practices
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Language skills (English and Japanese) are required
