What You Will Do

  • Drive sales activities to expand Molex focused products and profits within assigned districts of automotive OEMs and Tiers.
  • Generate and realize the opportunities in sales force with a strategic approach aligned with business units.
  • Develop and implement a sales plan
  • Learn Molex products and systems to maintain and develop Molex business in the customers
  • Get customer voices and communicate with international business units
  • Support all sales channels: OEM, distribution, Molex affiliates globally including local production site members.
  • Develop and maintains expense budget for district.
  • Maintain mass production sales volume forecast for avoiding supply disturbance
  • Manage and take an action to PCN (Process change notification) in a timely manner and keep mass production parts supply
  • Maintain obsolescence to avoid sudden line stoppage at customer
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by manager

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Basic connector skills and current business items,
  • Basic knowledge of Molex internal system including but not limited to (sales force / SAP / Pros)
  • Basic knowledge of financial and profitability,
  • Willing to learn new item with respect and willing to update your knowledge that we already have
  • Interpersonal skills that demonstrate the ability to build rapport with external contacts and give guidance and advice
  • Good time management and keep promised due date
  • Willing to learn and improve problem solving skills
  • Basic PC skills (excel, PowerPoint and Word)

Japanese: Native level

English: Business Level (TOEIC score over 750), language training may be arranged upon request

  • Problem solving ability
  • In depth understanding of automotive industry, supply chain, and production schedule
  • Previous automotive business experience through OEM or Tier1
  • Business experiences for Toyota and other OEMs
  • Work in a mutually beneficial way to drive results for Molex and key constituents to create the greatest long-term value
  • Being lifelong learners – are curious, seek feedback and demonstrate courage in learning their talents
  • Self-starter and having resilience and can-do attitude
