ChopValue Japan is hiring skilled woodworkers as we continue to grow our operations and scale circular manufacturing across the region. We are a global company transforming discarded chopsticks into high-performance furniture and building materials. Today, ChopValue operates in nine countries through local Microfactories that turn waste into long-lasting value.

In the Kanto region alone, around 27 million disposable chopsticks are discarded every day. We see this as untapped potential, which is why we have launched Japan's first flagship Microfactory in Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture. Our vision is to build a nationwide network of Microfactories and welcome 1,000 woodworkers into the ChopValue ecosystem over the next five years.

We respect traditional woodworking craftsmanship while pushing the boundaries of what circular manufacturing can be. Our workshops are places to build skills, refine technique, and grow alongside a global team that values quality, purpose, and impact.

[Position Details and Requirements]

• Position: Skilled Woodworker
• Job Description: Production of wooden furniture
• Salary: From ¥422,000 per month (includes deemed overtime pay for 20 hours)
• Location: Kamiodanaka, Nakahara-ku, Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa, Japan
• Start Date: Immediate start available or negotiable
• Probation Period: 3 months
• Working Hours: 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (60-minute break)
• Holidays: Two days off per week (Saturday and Sunday), national holidays,
• Golden Week, year-end and New Year holidays, paid leave starting from 10 days per year
• Qualifications: 6 years or more of practical experience as a woodworker
