EMURGO is looking for a Japanese Speaking Junior Marketing Manager.
EMURGO is a blockchain technology company headquartered in Singapore but with a global team across the USA, UK, Middle East, and Africa.
A founding entity of the Cardano blockchain that provides products and services to drive the adoption of the Cardano's Web3 ecosystem.
EMURGO drives Cardano adoption via education, investment, and infrastructure development.
Our mission is to facilitate commercial adoption through dynamic partnerships with existing ecosystem members and the seamless integration of new entrants. By prioritising investments, delivering continuous education, and building infrastructure, we aim to unlock the full potential of the ecosystem.
Role Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies, coordinating and managing ecosystem companies.
You will be exposed to all aspects of marketing under EMURGO closely collaborating with Social Events, Hackathon and PR.
Applicants must be able to speak Japanese
Main Responsibilities:
In fulfilling the requirements of the post, the candidate will demonstrate essential professional characteristics, and in particular will:
Events Management:
Support Event Marketing Manager to:
- Plan, organise, and execute a variety of events, including conferences, meetups, webinars, and workshops
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful event execution.
- Develop marketing materials, including event invitations, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, AV equipment, and onsite staff.
Hackathon Management:
Support Event Marketing Manager to:
- Plan and execute blockchain hackathons
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to create engaging hackathon activities
- Promote hackathons through various channels to attract participants
Press Release Management:
Support Global PR Manager to:
- Develop and distribute press releases to announce company updates, product launches, partnerships, and other significant milestones
- Cultivate relationships with journalists, bloggers, and media outlets to secure press coverage
- Monitor media coverage and track metrics to assess the impact of press releases
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and company messaging
- Manage Japanese social media accounts on X
