Responsibilities:

• Payment Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategies to expand payment options tailored to the Japan market.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to understand emerging payment trends, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics in Japan.
• New PSP Opportunities: Identify new PSP opportunities in Japan to enhance the company's payment options.
• Payment Success Rates: Monitor payment success rates and identify opportunities for improvement.
• PSP Collaboration: Collaborate with PSPs to reduce transaction failures and improve user payment experiences.
• Payment Method Analysis: Conduct analysis on payment methods preferred by Japanese users and optimize the payment mix accordingly.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all payment processing is compliant with Japanese regulatory standards.
• Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with internal compliance teams to mitigate risks and prevent fraud.
• Regulatory Updates: Stay updated on relevant regulatory changes in Japan and implement necessary adjustments.
• Customer Support: Work closely with customer support teams to resolve any payment-related issues for Japanese customers.
• Documentation: Assist in developing documentation and resources to address frequently asked questions or concerns about payment processes in Japan.
• Performance Metrics: Track, analyze, and report key metrics related to payment success, user satisfaction, and cost savings.
• Monthly Reports: Prepare monthly reports for management, including insights and recommendations.
• In-Depth Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of payment data specific to Japan, identifying trends and improvement opportunities.

Requirements:

• Language Proficiency: Native in the Japanese language.
• Industry Experience: Previous experience in offshore FX, or gambling business is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Prior Experience: Prior experience working with PSPs or in payment processing.
• Payment Knowledge: Strong understanding of Japanese payment methods and customer preferences.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of Japanese financial regulations and compliance standards.
• Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Package and Benefits:

• Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum (depending on experience and location)
