Job Description
IBM MF Specialist is a senior role of PAS (Policy Admin Systems) team in Solution Delivery department. This role requires comprehensive technical skills to deliver the best fit solutions that contribute to business values. This role also needs to provide guidance and help to other development members including governance of vendor partners.
Job Purpose
Responsible for PAS developments including governance of vendors to deliver solutions
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for PAS developments from end-to-end including support IT/ST/UAT as needed.
Contribute to PAS transformation related to IT Modernization program in Japan.
Provide guidance to other development team members as needed.
Communicate and guide vendor development team to ensure the direction and delivery quality.

Educational Qualification
Bachelor of Science Degree – Computer Science or related field
Specific Qualifications
Japanese language:
N3 & above. English business fluency
Total Experience
Experience:
8+ years IT delivery experience
Tier 1 insurance carrier transformation experience, preferred
Familiar with commonly used insurance system packages, preferred
Insurance Knowledge:
Comprehensive knowledge of insurance product definition, rating engine, underwriting rules, regulatory reporting
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of COBOL/Assembler/JCL/CICS/IMSDB/zOS Connect.
Mastery in IBM mainframe platform environment setup
Experience in integration of IBM mainframe and open systems
Leadership:
Exhibits confidence in self and others; inspires and motivates others to perform well with excellent coaching skills.
Collaboration:
Ability to operate and have credibility with business partners
Strong interpersonal skills and ability for productive collaboration across varying departments. Comfortable building relationships, internally and externally
