FACILITY & GA MANAGER - KAKEGAWA DISTRIBUTION CENTRE

Purpose of the Job

  • This position involves combining the maintenance of facilities and managing general affairs (GA) operations to make things more cost-effective and consistent at DNO (Distribution Network Operation), specifically at the Shizuoka Center.
  • To ensure the enduring operation of Shizuoka Center by developing and implementing a repair and investment plan for the entire center based on a clear mid- to long-term strategy, thereby guaranteeing the quality of both hardware and software, including facilities.
  • Cost management from a mid- to long-term perspective
  • The position requires a precise understanding of the current situation and the need to maintain consistent cooperation with both internal and external partners from a mid- to long-term perspective.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a cohesive team, ensuring collaboration, skill enhancement, and a results-driven culture.
  • Budget creating and management for the whole DNO (Distribution Network Operation) costs : Oversee the meticulous creation and management of the BGT budget, analyzing DNO costs, identifying savings, and ensuring fiscal responsibility.
  • Strong partner ship with Global Supply Chain Finance
  • Reporting to government agencies and local fire department: Ensure prompt & transparent reporting, maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Participation in the CES (Safety Control similar to EHS) global community: Actively engage in the CES global community, submitting comprehensive safety reports in English to uphold global standards
  • Responding to audits by insurance companies
  • Formulation of medium- and long-term strategic plans

    • Professional experience in facility & GA fields with empowered leadership
    • Managing the team as a leader
    • Experience of collaboration with external partners
    • Experienced in cost management
    • Working in the international environment in English
    • Japanese, Fluent
    • English, Business level
    • MS Excel (Basic formulas, Tables, Analysis, Pivot, Advanced formulas)
    • Responsibility in Budget creation
    • SAP
    • Knowledge of labor relations
    • Knowledge of health and safety
