We are an enterprise 5G and AI infrastructure company expanding into Japan.
This role will focus on managing existing key accounts and driving new business opportunities with Japanese enterprise customers and Japanese telecom operators.
You will serve as the local sales leader, bridging communciation between clients and our global technical and commercia terams.Key Responsibilities
Lead business development and account management efforts for 5G RAN and private 5G solutions across telecom operators and enterprise sectors.
Manage and grow relationships with existing Japanese enterprise clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Japan or east Asia, particularly in telecom, private 5G, and adjacent industries (manufacturing, mining, airports, etc.).
Act as the primary sales contact for Japan, working closely with global sales leadership and technical/solution/project teams.Coordinate with internal technical and product experts to deliver tailored solutions for Japanese customers.
Support the preparation of proposals, quotations, and contract negotiations.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities in Japan, providing regular insights to global leadership.
Represent the company professionally at client meetings, industry events, and presentations in Japan.
Requirements
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in sales, key account management, or business development within Japan.
Strong background in telecommunications, enterprise solutions, or private 5G preferred.
Fluent in Japanese (native or equivalent) and business-level English.
Additional proficiency in Chinese is an advantage.
Experience working in international or cross-cultural environments.
Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in Japan.
Self-driven, adaptable, and able to work independently in a lean startup environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile

Comfortable liaising with Japanese enterprise customers and overseas stakeholders.
Able to balance strategic account management with hands-on sales execution.
