About the Role:
We are seeking a driven professional to lead and drive marketing efforts in Japan for Blackstone's Private Wealth Solutions (PWS) business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and monitor regulatory developments and competitive landscapes across alternative asset classes, strategy types, and product structures to identify opportunities in Japan;
- Collaborate with the Global Product Strategy team, Blackstone investment businesses, and PWS business functions to create new products that fit clients' portfolio needs;
- Engage with trade bodies on potential regulatory updates and proposals relevant to the PWS business;
- Support product initiatives across PWS business functions, including Marketing, Sales, Legal, and Investor Services;
Requirements:
- Effective leadership skills with experience in developing and overseeing high-performing teams;
- An entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter, and idea generator;
- Strong business judgment and decisiveness in a fast-paced environment;
- Exceptional project management skills with ability to instill process and structure;
- Extensive product development experience in Japan focusing on intermediary audiences and knowledge of regional wealth and wholesale segments;
- Demonstrated interest in investments and solid knowledge across alternatives investment products, financial services industry, and capital markets;
- Knowledge of the regional regulatory and legislative landscape in Japan;
- Fluency in spoken and written Japanese and English languages;
- Ability to work in a team environment across multiple geographies and manage multiple stakeholders and initiatives simultaneously against tight timelines;
