- Support customers' ERP application implementation for procurement-related tasks.
- Analyze and map business processes to identify areas for improvement and gaps in the current workflow.
- Collaborate with end-users, understand their requirements and challenges, and work with cross-functional teams to design solutions.
- Work with business users to identify and prioritize new requirements and customization opportunities for ERP systems.
- Closely collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of ERP solutions into existing workflows.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within the ERP system by collaborating with relevant teams for data maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Consultant or similar role with a focus on procurement and ERP implementation.
- Familiarity with procurement areas such as outsourcing, supplier qualification management, supplier portal, purchasing, and self-service is necessary.
- Experience discussing business processes with business users regarding end-to-end procurement processes is essential.
- Basic understanding of ERP systems and willingness to learn specific modules related to procurement and acquire specialized knowledge are required.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver project outcomes is necessary.
Requirements
- Business-level Japanese language proficiency (speaking, reading, writing) is required.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to address requirements and challenges during ERP implementation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and no oversights in final products.
- Self-motivated, dedicated, and customer-focused individual.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to ERP SCM module.
The estimated salary for this position is ¥8,000,000 - ¥12,000,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and suppliers, to implement ERP solutions and improve procurement processes. Proficiency in Japanese and English is necessary for effective communication and documentation. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, Baan, Infor, JDE, etc., is highly desirable. Additionally, expertise in procurement operations, inventory management, cost accounting, manufacturing, supply and demand planning, and warehouse management systems is valuable.
