ATTENTION: Japan-based Insurance Professionals in Business Development, Commercial Lines Sales, Client-Facing Underwriting, Broker Relations, or Distribution Management
"Your Big Chance To Build A Global Career At The World's Number One Insurance Brand…
By Helping Grow Key Relationships with Fortune 500 Clients Such As Sony, IBM, and Kirin…
And Still Gain The Freedom To Control Your Work Hours So You Can Enjoy Dinner At Home With Your Family Every Night"
Dear Ambitious Job Seeker:
If you're a Japan-based non-life insurance professional with experience in business development, commercial lines sales, client-facing underwriting, broker relations, or distribution management…
And if…
You often work past 9pm because you have to wait for your boss to leave before you can go home.
You're worried you could be transferred to another department you have ZERO interest in.
You rarely use English at work despite living or working overseas for a couple of years…
You can't remember the last time you took a vacation longer than 7 days…
You're disappointed every month on the 25th when you check your bank account to see your salary.
Then this will be the most exciting message you'll read in 2025
HERE'S WHY:
The CEO of a top European non-life insurer in Tokyo…
Seeks to hire a new member for their Distribution Management Team…
To help them grow key relationships with their Fortune 500 corporate clients.
This would be your chance to work with senior leadership from day one…
And build an international career by joining a world-leading organization with over 157,000 employees in 200 countries.
HERE'S WHY I THINK YOU WILL LOVE THIS COMPANY:
-Founded in 1890, you'll join one of the richest and most stable companies in the world...
-You'll also join a company that was voted the #1 "Global Insurance Brand" for 7 years straight
-Fortune 500 companies love working with my client because they're great at technical underwriting.
-My client won the "Great Place to Work 2024" award in Germany, the UK, France, Singapore, Spain, Italy, Canada, and the USA… and maybe Japan will be next
-The Tokyo office has 42 people now, but they plan to TRIPLE their growth in the next few years
NOW HERE'S WHY I THINK YOU WILL LOVE THIS ROLE:
-You'll manage and grow relationships with brokers, agents, and Fortune 500 companies to expand their business. No stressful prospecting or cold calling needed because the clients are already acquired
-You will earn a salary and bonuses higher than you're making now…or we won't ask you to apply
-You will have your own seat at the leadership table that includes the CEO and three other Distribution Team Members
-You'll have complete control over your schedule with no core hours. Start work at 11:00 AM and leave the office at 2:00 PM on some days if you need to
-You'll improve your English by participating in meetings with the regional manager and team in Singapore.
-You'll have the option to work for 25 days in any country overseas of your choice (except North Korea).
-You'll have the freedom to work a hybrid schedule (3 days in the office and 2 at home).
-You'll enjoy 22 days of paid vacation even in your first year of work (and yes, all employees are HIGHLY encouraged to use their paid time off every year).
-You'll grow your skills and market value with certification programs, online courses, in-house training, and workshops.
-You'll have up to 30 days of sick leave annually in case you catch a serious illness, giving you plenty of time to recover.
SO IF YOU POSSESS…
Experience in underwriting or business development within commercial and/or specialty insurance lines…
The ability to foster long-term relationships at various levels within broker and client organizations…
Fluent Japanese language skills (spoken and written)...
English communication skills (business-level)...
AND IF…
You want to take control of your career, not be stuck in a big, bureaucratic company that treats you like a 5-year-old child, no matter your age or experience…
You feel stuck doing the same repetitive work without a voice in decision-making..
You want a role that will give you visibility, ownership, and global collaboration...
Then, click on the "EASY APPLY" button in the upper left-hand corner of this page to apply for this job.
After reviewing your application, we will contact you within 48 hours if you are qualified.
Remember, joining a global company in Japan is one of the FASTEST ways to grow your career.
You will…
Learn to manage international relationships around the world.
Improve your English while working with colleagues from different nations.
And…
- Position yourself at the heart of global business.
All of this raises your market value and opens up many new, exciting doors for your future.
We look forward to your application
