Brief Call
: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you

Interviews
(the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities

Case study
: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job Description
As an
SAP Support Consultant
, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth business operations by providing daily application support, coordinating testing activities, and collaborating with global and local teams. You will work closely with business users to resolve issues, document processes, and contribute to ongoing system improvements and implementation projects.

Your missions
Daily Application Support

  • Address and resolve incidents reported by business users.
  • Collect detailed information (business flow, background, replication steps) to diagnose issues accurately.
  • Provide temporary workarounds when immediate fixes are not available.
  • Monitor and improve the quality of support services.
  • Update existing documentation and create new materials to help users and reduce incident frequency.
  • Summarize and share system documentation with the team.
  • Effectively prioritize support tickets to ensure timely resolutions.

System Testing Coordination

  • Understand testing requirements and communicate relevant changes to users.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and support testing activities with business users and global IT teams.

Global and Local Coordination

  • Follow up on incident resolutions and ensure timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Support the business in articulating issue details and priorities to the global team.

Support for System Implementation

  • Participate in project activities including IT testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), user training, deployment, and post–go-live support.
  • Summarize and maintain system manuals and project documentation.

Your profile
Skills

  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with both business users and internal teams.
  • Strong ability to analyze and understand business processes.
  • Understanding of eCommerce Order Management System (OMS) processes.
  • Familiarity with SAP Order to Cash (OTC) processes is preferred.
  • Proficient in Japanese and English at a business level.

Experience

  • Experience in website or OMS application support.
  • Hands-on experience with the SAP SD module (user or IT support level preferred).
  • Previous experience providing user support (preferred).
