Role Description
This is a part-time role for an EFL Junior High School Teacher, working two days a week, starting from January 2026. The position is on-site, based in Hachioji, Tokyo. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering English lessons, assessing student progress, and collaborating with fellow educators to create an engaging and effective learning environment. The teacher will also assist with curriculum development and participate in school activities and events.
Qualifications
- Experience in teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) to junior high school students
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Adaptability and cultural sensitivity
- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field is preferred
- TEFL/TESOL certification or equivalent is a plus
