The Sr. Client Service Representative in the Client Service Dept. is responsible for day to day servicing for Japanese trust banks and asset managers. The individual focuses on assigned functional services in the Global Custody disciplines. S/he will manage day to day activities for assigned client relationships and perform oversight of product offerings to support high client satisfaction.
Client Service
- Proactively respond to client inquiries and provide filtering for escalation
- Work effectively with internal teams to prioritize client requests, deliverables and issue resolution
- Execute reviews of internal reporting for assigned client relationships and promptly escalate issues identified
- Utilize relevant internal technology solutions to effectively manage client inquiries
- Introduce and familiarize clients with new technology, automation tools and product
- Participate in scheduled client meetings
Risk/Control
- Ensure adherence to all established procedures, controls, and best practices
Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- 1 to 3 years of financial industry experience (client servicing focused environment is preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills both in Japanese and English
- Strong attention to details
- Ability to prioritize and quickly resolve client needs
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Ability to build and maintain internal and external client relationships
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems
- Fund services knowledge is preferred
- Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
