Your key responsibilities:
- Support origination and execution of Investment Banking business, with a strong focus in the bond execution, including origination, documentation, marketing, and distribution.
- Daily tasks will vary depending on the phase of the current transactions, but will frequently include the creation of presentation/pitching material for potential deals, as well as summaries of
- economic and market developments, recent primary offerings, and secondary trading performance.
- Analyzing comparable borrowers and assessing appropriate new issue pricing indication in consultation with Syndicate, producing spreadsheet models, roadshow presentations, and due diligence reports.
- Assist in Due Diligence, deal documentation and internal approvals
- Handling day to day client queries on all execution related matters
- Report on performance and targets to senior management of DB when required
- Ensure compliance with the bank policies and guidelines and mitigate risk appropriately
Your skills and experience:
- Recent college graduates within 2 years of graduation / 2 years of working experiences.
- At least 1 years of relevant experience in DCM deals execution.
- Highly motivated and self-driven with ability to multitask across clients, projects and geographies.
- Strong quantitative skills including experience with financial models and valuation techniques are plus.
- Strong communication skills and able to articulate to demanding clients.
- Performing in-depth company and industry research to support live deal execution and pitches.
- Knowledge of all investment banking products.
- Educated to university degree level with strong numerical ability.
- Excellent communication skills with Fluency in both Japanese and English.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work in a high-pressure environment.
