As Product Marketing & Professional Education Manager, you will lead marketing strategy and execution for assigned product portfolios, ensuring sustainable business growth in Japan.

This role combines Product Marketing leadership—covering lifecycle management, market development, and strategic campaigns—with Professional Education (CET) responsibilities such as congress participation and healthcare professional training programs.

You will serve as a key interface between local, regional, and global teams to align product positioning, education initiatives, and business priorities.

Key Responsibilities
Product Marketing

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and annual plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage product lifecycle from launch to discontinuation, including positioning, pricing, and messaging.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and define competitive strategies.
  • Lead product launches and promotional campaigns in collaboration with regional and global stakeholders.
  • Build strong partnerships with sales teams to drive product adoption and market share.
  • Manage marketing budgets, analyze ROI, and continuously optimize marketing investments.
  • Collaborate with RA/QA, supply chain, and operations to ensure smooth business execution.
  • Professional Education / CET
  • Plan and implement education programs for healthcare professionals, including workshops, webinars, and hands-on training.
  • Manage congress and symposium activities in partnership with sales and medical teams.
  • Develop educational content aligned with product strategies and compliance requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and professional societies.
  • Measure program effectiveness and implement improvements to enhance impact.
  • Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration
  • Partner with regional/global marketing teams to align product strategies and localize marketing materials.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and vendors for event management, media, and educational logistics.
  • Support team capability development and share best practices within the Japan Marketing organization.

資格
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in product marketing or the medical device industry.
  • Proven track record in product strategy, launch execution, and campaign management.
  • Experience in interventional products is a strong plus.
  • Experience in professional education or CET programs is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  • Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially PowerPoint & Excel)
  • Willingness to travel domestically for customer meetings, training, and congress participation.
