Description

We are seeking a skilled pharmacologist/biologist to pioneer new paths in the creation of innovative drugs for diseases with unmet medical needs. The Engineered Small Molecules Division is working on first-in-class small molecule drugs that degrade undruggable targets using protein degradation technology.

This position will be a key member of a program utilizing targeted protein degradation modalities to create clinical products for cancer and other indications. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the TPD leadership team, program management, chemistry, biology, ADME, toxicology, and external partners.

Responsibilities:

• Lead or be a major program member
• Manage partnership/CRO to promote a research program
• Be coordinated with researchers in a team or related stakeholders to promote research in an efficient manner
• Participate in program-related meetings and contribute to the progress of the program through useful suggestions and discussions
• Ensure daily experiments to be complied with internal and external laws, regulations, and compliance standards

Requirements:

• Ph.D or equivalent in life science
• 3+ years of experience as a pharmacologist or a biologist in the industry
• Experience as a biology project leader
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• An interest and motivation for the drug discovery on undruggables in cancer area, where there is huge medical unmet needs
• Ability to design and carry out biological experiments safely and accurately
• Analytical skills and the ability to interpret assay data for drug design
• TDP field (e.g. PROTAC, Molecular glue etc.) experience
• Cancer research knowledge and experience
• Biochemical assays knowledge and experience (e.g., SPR, CETSA)
• Problem-solving skills to develop scientific solutions
• Effective communication skills in English to work with collaborators and CRO partners
