Job Summary As a Product Manager at Telexistence, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technical and business stakeholders, driving the development of our innovative robotic solutions platform. You will collaborate closely with frontend and backend engineering teams to translate business requirements and user needs into product features and technical specifications. Our service manages robotic operations, so we need to pay close attention to safety and the operational flow to continuously check for any omissions in the requirement specifications. We are a start-up operating in a rapidly evolving market, looking for a strategic thinker who can balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints. You will be part of a dynamic team that values creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Our fast-paced environment requires adaptability and quick responses to changing priorities—making context-driven decision-making and efficient communication essential. Therefore, we expect ideas and opinions to come from your expertise. Our Integrated Development Approach: We currently develop using C# and Unity/Blazor. This unified approach enables our product managers to work seamlessly with both frontend and backend engineering teams. By avoiding fragmentation of tasks by component, we foster an environment where collaboration accelerates development and leads to more efficient problem solving. Although our front-end has traditionally been built using Blazor and Unity, we are currently exploring the possibility of developing a single, unified client application that may eventually serve all end-user categories and lay the foundation for a multi-platform solution. Evolution of Role Specialization: Historically, every team member was involved in developing all software components (Frontend, Backend, Console Tools, Robot Software, and Infrastructure). As our product and team have evolved, we are moving toward clearly defined roles for each component. As a Product Manager, you will coordinate across these specialized roles to ensure that all components work together cohesively to deliver a unified product experience that meets user needs and business objectives.

• 製品戦略&ロードマップ︓ビジネスゴールとユーザーニーズに沿った包括的な製品ロードマップ を作成し、維持する。製品のビジョン、⽬標、成功指標をステークホルダーと協⼒して定義し、顧客 からのフィードバック、市場動向、ビジネス価値に基づき、機能や機能強化の優先順位を決めること で、短期的な戦術要件と⻑期的な戦略⽬標のバランスをとる。
• 顧客と市場の洞察⼒の統合︓ビジネス開発チームやオペレーションチームと密接に協⼒し、顧客 や市場のデータを収集し、深いインサイトを抽出し、製品の課題や機会を特定する。顧客に提供され る価値を定義し、これらの洞察をカスタマージャーニーと製品ロードマップに体系的に組み込む。
• 仕様のリーダーシップと継続的改善︓システム全体を俯瞰しながら、特定のソフトウェアコンポ ーネントに深い専⾨性を持ち、詳細な製品仕様と改善提案の開発をリードする。新機能の企画、設 計、リリース後の改善サイクル(UI/UXの観点も含む)を推進し、バグや仕様の抜け漏れなどのリスク 要因を積極的に検知して品質の向上を図る。
• クロスファンクショナルプロジェクトマネジメント︓エンジニア、デザイナー、ビジネスチーム と協働し、プロトタイピングからローンチまでの開発プロジェクトを管理する。顧客に最⼤限の価値 を提供する最適な⽅法を選択し、実施するために積極的に⾏動する。


In this role, you will drive our product vision and strategy by aligning cross-functional teams, defining clear requirements, and leveraging user insights to continuously improve our innovative robotic solutions platform as we transition from our current Launch Partners to a broader market of Expansion Stores.
• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with business goals and user needs. Define the product vision, goals, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders, and balance short-term tactical requirements with long-term strategic objectives by prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business value.
• Customer & Market Insight Integration: Collaborate closely with Business Development and Operations teams to gather customer and market data, extract deep insights, and identify product challenges and opportunities. Define the value delivered to customers and systematically incorporate these insights into the customer journey and product roadmap.
• Specification Leadership & Continuous Improvement: Lead the development of detailed product specifications and improvement proposals with deep expertise in specific software components, while maintaining a holistic view of the overall system. Drive the planning, design, and post-release improvement cycle for new features—including UI/UX perspectives—and proactively detect risk factors such as bugs or specification omissions to ensure quality enhancement.
• Cross-functional Project Management: Work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and business teams to manage development projects from prototyping through launch. Act proactively to select and implement the most appropriate methods that deliver maximum value to customers.

応募資格・必要経験/Requirements (Essential Skills):

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong technical background with the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, limitations, and trade-offs with engineering teams.
• Experience as an engineer in the actual development of applications or systems
• Basic familiarity with web application technologies including API and database design principles and cloud platforms.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and tools including user story creation, acceptance criteria definition, and backlog management.
• Ability to identify issues from the customer/user perspective and lead from specification development to execution
• High attention to detail, including bugs and specification omissions
• Japanese: Fluent
• English: Business level

• ソフトウェア製品のプロダクトマネジメントにおいて、製品の⽴ち上げを成功させた実績のある⽅。 技術製品におけるプロダクトマネジメント(または密接に関連する職務)に最低3年以上携わったこと がある⽅。
• ロボット⼯学、IoT、または関連分野での経験があることが望ましい。
• Proven track record of successful product launches in product management of software products.
• Minimum of 3 years in product management (or closely related role) in a technical product. Experience in robotics, IoT, or related field preferred.

• Additional experience specifically as a Product Manager for technical products, preferably in robotics, IoT, or related fields.

• Familiarity with user-centered design principles and practices (e.g., design thinking, UX research) to refine product strategy.
• Advanced knowledge of web and cloud technologies, including microservices architectures and cloud infrastructure management.
• Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, non-technical language.
• Knowledge of or strong interest in robotics, automation, or retail technology, with an emphasis on leveraging these to drive business value.
