Tech Lead (DevOps、Platform) 

■ Company Overview

Japanese platform connecting businesses with manufacturers, streamlining the manufacturing supply chain. It allows companies to request quotes, compare manufacturers, and manage production processes efficiently. The platform leverages technology to help businesses find reliable manufacturing partners in Japan.

■ Your Role and Responsibilities 

Platform Engineering can be approached in various ways, but our focus is on building tools and infrastructure to reduce developers' cognitive load by separating concerns.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will work on:

Collaborating with developers to maximize the value provided.
Developing and maintaining self-service tools and platforms.
Enhancing development processes and environments, beyond just introducing new tools.

Experience and Qualifications

Proven experience in leading Platform Engineering initiatives or equivalent to a Tech Lead role (see job description).
Strong background in designing and developing web applications using statically typed languages.
At least 7 years of hands-on software development experience.
Business-level proficiency in English.

■ Additional Preferred Qualifications

Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes.
Practical knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.
Expertise in designing and operating CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on experience in distributed system architecture and operations.
Proficiency in Google Cloud infrastructure and services.
Experience with monitoring platforms like Datadog.
Background in data engineering, including ETL and data infrastructure.
Previous platform engineering experience in an organization with 50+ engineers.
Conversational-level Japanese proficiency (JLPT N2 or above is a plus, as communication involves both Japanese and English).
