Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Tokyo, Japan
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement embedded software for robotic systems.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system architecture and interfaces.
- Test and troubleshoot embedded software to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Document software designs, procedures, and test results.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in embedded systems and robotics.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of embedded software development and programming languages such as C/C++.
- Understanding of microcontroller architecture and hardware interfacing.
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and development environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Desired Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in embedded software development, preferably in the robotics industry.
- Experience with debugging tools and techniques for embedded systems.
- Experience in collaborating on multidisciplinary projects with hardware and software teams.
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, etc.
- Previous experience in agile development methodologies is a plus.
