About the location:
The 123-room Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto is the company's second destination in Japan, in the city's historic Higashiyama-ku district, close to the Kyoto National Museum and myriad heritage sites such as the Toyokuni Shrine and Kiyomizu Temple. Local artists are featured throughout the traditionally-inspired modern décor characterised by an understated Japanese aesthetic. The Hotel has a spa and fitness centre with a pool, and four food and beverage concepts. There are also be 57 Four Seasons Private Residences.The Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto & Four Seasons Hotel Osaka are looking for a Cluster Group and Reservation Specialist. As a member of the Commercial Division, the Cluster Group and Reservation Specialist works for both Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto & Osaka and across disciplines to deliver an exceptional experience.
About the role
- Take guest in-room dining orders through chat, phone calls, communicate special requests to the kitchen, and coordinate deliver of orders according to Four Seasons Standards.
- Answer telephone using courteous, efficient telephone etiquette while obtaining all information necessary to process the guest's order
- Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel's point-of-sales system; check completed kitchen orders with the guest's original order.
- Coordinate amenity delivery by ensuring that all requests are received, filled, ordered from kitchen and delivered in a prompt and accurate.
- Knowledge of MICROS is preferred
- Ensure full understanding of the menu with the ability to effectively provide our customers with detailed description of dishes.
- Coordinate set-up requirements for hotel and off-site functions according to the banquet event order; communicate directly with group contacts, Catering Managers, and Conference Services Managers to ensure that all details of the function are carried out.
