J ob Purpose
To deliver high calibre daily operations and maintenance services within critical environments .
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the facilities management service, which encompasses preventive maintenance and ad hoc maintenance, fire, mechanical, electrical support and, following environmental safety guidelines to ensure business continuity is maintained .
- Manage site operations to ensure continuity of property services with minimum disruption to the client's business operations.
- Manages the on-site activities of shift/day technicians, and where required vendors and contractors.
- Supervise and manage and mentor the technicians on site to ensure exceptional performance is being achieved . Shift Lead is responsible for supporting the Shift Manager / Critical Facilities Manager in setting and attaining performance goals, as well as responsible for the development, coaching, and counselling of the rest of the site technicians.
- Raise work permits (including Tag out, Confined spaces, High Voltage, Fire Isolation, and Hot Works requirements), sign off work permits and collaborate with various groups to optimize the work schedule.
- Where required conduct and document client meetings with appropriate work stream leaders, contractors .
- Report and recommend technical and operational initiatives.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Data centr e or Critical environment facility management work experience
- Good understanding of data centr e infrastructure and its resiliency design (UPS, Generator, CRAC, cabling, containment routes, etc ) is a plus
- Business level of Japanese (Above N2) .
