Job summary: We are looking for motivated and flexible individuals with a passion for video games to provide linguistic accuracy verification, cosmetic integrity checks, bug identification and documentation, and ensure quality control for in-game text.
We provide a range of linguistic, testing, and quality control services to prominent video game developers and publishers worldwide. Our working languages in the office are English and Japanese.
- Verify in-game text accuracy, checking for typographical, grammatical, and punctuation errors.
- Ensure cosmetic integrity of in-game text and verify correct display.
- Identify, isolate, and document bugs clearly and concisely using provided tools and databases.
- Verify bug fixes and implementation.
- Follow documented processes throughout the testing process.
- Maintain focus and attention to detail throughout projects.
Contract employment, 10am-7pm Mon-Fri with 1 hour lunch break, some projects have flexible hours.
- Excellent spelling and grammar in Japanese.
- Deep understanding of local cultural and linguistic nuances.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- High-level written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Basic Microsoft Office Business application skills.
- Reside in Tokyo.
Diverse working environment, casual dress code, commuting expenses covered, hourly wage ¥1,175-¥1,500.
