The
IT Site Manager
is responsible for overseeing comprehensive IT operations and services, including end-user support, application consulting, and infrastructure maintenance in Japan. This role is crucial for ensuring IT projects align with business needs, maintaining adherence to IT policies and budget control, and fostering critical communication between IT and business management to drive operational efficiency and strategic alignment.

This position reports to the IT Manager, Asia Pacific and is part of the IT Department located in Ariake, Tokyo and is an on-site role to cover Japan.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Supervise and lead the IT Site team in Japan, managing IT infrastructure and providing comprehensive user support.
• Facilitate and manage IT projects, ensuring they align with customer needs and organizational priorities.
• Manage IT-related infrastructure and security to provide an efficient and secure business operational environment.
• Ensure adherence to IT policies, standards, and procedures, including budget and expense control.
• Act as a key liaison between business and IT, communicating requirements and activities to foster strong collaboration.
• Drive continuous process improvement for end-user support metrics and overall IT service delivery.
• Develop and maintain unique local business knowledge to ensure effective implementation of international and corporate business applications.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Management.
• At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory position for IT operation and/or IT management within an international organization environment.
• At least 3 years of solid project management experience with a proven track record.
• At least 3 years of experience utilizing IT technologies, including Microsoft Software, HP/Dell servers, Juniper/Cisco systems, PC and server management, computer networks, VOIP, Smartphone, database, and IT Security.
• Fluency in Japanese and English, both written and verbal.
• Availability for regular travel.
• Solid knowledge and experience in IT operation and IT management.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• ITIL certification
• PMP certification (or other specific project management qualifications, if desired, to differentiate from the essential requirement).
