部門長として、駐車支援、運転支援、車内センシングシステム、および次世代の集中制御アーキテクチャに基づく高機能システムを含む、当社の先進運転支援システム(ADAS)に関わる車両への組み込み・評価・実用化に関する全ての活動を統括していただきます。

職務内容

車両開発部門は、主に以下の4つの責任領域を担っています。


車両へのシステム統合:
センサーや制御機器の取り付け管理、車両へのソフトウェア導入、初期動作テストの実施、お客様との統合スケジュールの調整を行います。

車両での機能最適化(キャリブレーション): 実際の車両においてADAS機能の調整や設定(チューニング・キャリブレーション)を主導し、広範なテストを通じて性能と品質を検証します。お客様との共同走行テストや最終確認も行います。


試作車両の準備:
先進技術開発および量産化に向けた試作車両の輸入、車両へのシステム組み込み、稼働開始までのプロセス全体を監督します。


関係各所との調整:
自動車メーカー、社内外のサプライヤー、その他の関係者との車両に関するあらゆる調整業務を行います。これには、車両走行データ収集や耐久試験用車両群の運用計画・管理も含まれます。


あなたの責任:
先進運転支援システム(ADAS)車両開発部門を統括・管理し、お客様の車両に高品質なADASソリューションを円滑に組み込み、適用されることを確実にします。
業務の卓越性と顧客満足度を重視し、部門のビジョン、ミッション、戦略を策定します。優れた車両テスト能力とコスト効率を両立させるテスト・適用方法を確立します。
メンバー(アソシエイト・マネージャー)の能力開発計画を戦略的に立案し、実行します。
チームメンバーを指導・育成し、実践的な課題解決、継続的な学習と改善を促す文化を醸成します。
部門の全ての活動を監督し、お客様重視、拡張性、納期遵守、車載システムの卓越した品質を保証します。
システム統合および適用における最新技術動向を常に把握し、効率と安全性の向上につながる改善活動を積極的に推進します。
社内のプロジェクト管理、システム開発、ソフトウェア開発部門と密接に連携し、日本における開発体制を強力に構築します。

Position Overview

As department head you will be responsible for leading all vehicle-related activities for our large variety of ADAS systems, including parking systems, driving systems, interior sensing systems and highly integrated systems on centralized architectures.

This central role ensures the seamless integration, application, and real-world performance of our technology starting from advanced engineering demonstrators and showcases up to OEM`s vehicles for series development applications.

The position requires a strong leadership based on a comprehensive technical background and thorough understanding as well as the ability to drive innovation and excellence within the local organization in Japan but also addressing the supporting organizations at other locations, mostly in Europe, India, USA and China.

Job Description

The Vehicle System department has four core pillars of responsibility:

Vehicle System Integration:

Managing the installation process of sensors and hardware, deploying software into the vehicle, performing initial tests, and coordinating integration schedules with the customer.

Vehicle Application:

Leading the tuning and calibration of ADAS functions in the vehicle, executing extensive test catalogues to ensure performance and quality, and conducting joint test drives and validation with the customer.

Prototype Buildup:
Overseeing the import, construction and commissioning of prototype vehicles for both advanced development and series projects.

Coordination:
All vehicle related coordination, with OEM`s, with internal and external suppliers and stakeholders, including the planning and operations for data acquisition and endurance run fleets

Your Responsibilities

Lead and manage the ADAS Vehicle System department, ensuring the successful integration and application of high-quality ADAS solutions in customer vehicles.

Create a vision, mission, and strategy for your department, focusing on operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. Establish a vehicle test and application approach balancing outstanding vehicle test capabilities and costs.
Set up and drive strategic competence management for your associates and managers.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of hands-on problem-solving, continuous learning, and improvement.
Oversee all departmental activities, ensuring customer focus, scalability, on-time delivery, and outstanding quality of in-vehicle systems.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in integration and application. Initiate and push improvement activities for increased efficiency and safety.
Interact with local departments for project management, system development, and software development to form a strong, cohesive Japan organization.
Collaborate with international teams to ensure the consideration of JOEM requirements in the global product development and testing process.

資格

応募資格


学歴:
技術分野における大学または大学院(博士課程を含む)卒業。


経験と知識:
自動車業界、特に車両システム開発に近い分野において、人材マネジメントを含むリーダーシップポジションでの複数年の実務経験。

リーダーシップ:
多様なバックグラウンドを持つ、実践的な技術チームのメンバーを鼓舞し、意欲を高めることができる強力なリーダーシップとマネジメントスキル。


顧客対応力:
自動車メーカー(OEM)との共同プロジェクトやスケジュール管理経験を含む、優れた対顧客コミュニケーション能力および交渉スキル。


求める人物像と働き方:
事業全体の成功に責任を持ち、明確な優先順位を設定し、限られたリソースを最大限に活用できる方。
個人の利害よりも組織全体の目標を優先し、周囲にポジティブな影響を与えられる方。

語学:
ビジネスレベル以上の英語力(読み書き、会話)。日本語能力は高く評価します。

Qualifications

Education:
University studies in a technical field.

Experience and Knowledge:

Several years of professional experience in leadership positions including people management within the automotive industry, specifically close to vehicle systems.

Leadership:
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse, hands-on technical team.

Customer Interaction:
Excellent customer-facing communication and negotiation skills, with experience managing joint activities and schedules with OEMs.

Personality and Working Practice:
You take responsibility for overall success, set clear priorities, and effectively utilize resources. You place common goals above individual interests and positively influence your environment.

Languages:
Good communication skills in written and spoken English. Japanese skills are highly valuable.
