About the team
Help define and amplify the Stripe story and connect our products with our users.
Our Product Marketing team's mission is to generate insights that inform Stripe's product strategy, lead go-to-market for our suite of products, and create and execute campaigns to drive product growth. Product Marketing is a highly cross-functional role at Stripe, partnering closely with Product and Engineering, Sales, Design, Developer Relations, and Communications to name a few. Unlike many other Product Marketing teams, our team works across the entire product lifecycle, from helping shape the product, to driving launch and commercialization, to growing product adoption post-launch.
What you'll do:
As the regional product marketing lead for Japan, you will champion the needs of our users in the region and help to define and develop a strong, trusted brand in the market. You will connect the dots between product, sales, and marketing to enable our growth while delivering successful user outcomes.
- Lead the delivery of our product marketing priorities to drive growth for businesses from Japan in close partnership with our product, go-to-market, and marketing teams.
- Be a subject matter expert in the needs of our current users and prospective targets through user research, competitive landscape understanding, and deep product understanding.
- Develop and maintain tailored value propositions, narratives, and messaging in Japanese that resonates with local customer needs. Build processes to deploy these in marketing content, campaigns, and sales collateral.
- Drive high-quality launches and adoption of products by working closely with a range of cross-functional teams including, product, sales, engineering, marketing, design, communications, partnerships, and more.
- Enable the efficiency and productivity of our sellers in the region through knowledge transfers on products and solutions, market-specific content and tools, and support in field deployment.
- Monitor key business indicators around product adoption, usage, satisfaction to identify blockers and solutions to optimize our growth funnel in the market.
- Partner with country marketing teams to deliver relevant content programmes for priority events, integrated marketing campaigns, and ongoing demand generation.
Who you are:
- A strong communicator in Japanese and English — confident in engaging and influencing senior leadership stakeholders internally and externally.
- 8+ years of experience in B2B technology marketing and/or sales with prior product marketing experience.
- A champion for your market needs — comfortable working on a fast-growing, sophisticated market while advocating for the needs of users from your region.
- Focused on results — balancing customer needs and business goals to propose ambitious growth strategies.
- Good leadership and influencing skills; able to drive cross-functional alignment and progress towards impactful outcomes with limited resources.
- Proven track record in a global tech company ideally in the financial services industry.
- This role will require some domestic and international business travel.

Stripe のプロダクトマーケティングチームは、一般的なプロダクトマーケティングチームとは異なり、製品のライフサイクル全体に深く関与します。具体的には、製品の企画段階から、ローンチおよび商用化の推進、さらにはローンチ後の利用促進まで、幅広い業務を担当します。
職務内容
日本市場のプロダクトマーケティングリードとして、国内ユーザーのニーズを Stripe 社内で代弁し、信頼されるブランドの構築と成長を支援します。プロダクト、営業、マーケティングチーム間の橋渡し役となり、ユーザーに価値ある成果を提供し、Stripe の成長を牽引する役割を担います。
主な業務内容は以下の通りです:
- プロダクト、Go-to-Market (GTM)、マーケティングチームと密接に連携し、日本市場の事業成長を促進するプロダクトマーケティング戦略を推進
- ユーザーリサーチや競合分析、製品理解を通じて、既存および潜在ユーザーのニーズを深く掘り下げ、市場の専門知識を発揮
- 日本市場向けに最適化された価値提案、メッセージ、ストーリーテリングを開発し、マーケティングコンテンツ、キャンペーン、営業資料に効果的に展開
- プロダクト、営業、エンジニアリング、デザイン、広報、パートナーシップなど多様なチームと協働し、高品質な製品ローンチと利用促進を実現
- 現場チームの生産性向上を目的に、製品知識の共有、国内向けに特化したコンテンツやツール提供、営業支援を実施
- 製品採用率、利用状況、満足度などの指標をモニタリングし、成長を阻む要因を特定・解決
- 各国のマーケティングチームと協力し、主要イベント、統合型マーケティングキャンペーン、リードジェネレーション向けのコンテンツプログラムを企画・実施
求める人物像
- 日本語および英語での高いコミュニケーション能力を持ち、社内外の経営層を含む多様なステークホルダーと効果的に関係構築・調整ができる方
- B2B テクノロジー領域で 8 年以上のマーケティングまたは営業経験を有し、プロダクトマーケティングの実務経験がある方
