We are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our growing operations in Japan, with a focus on recruitment for our Refund Operations business.
This role is responsible for sourcing and hiring talent across Japan, managing the entire candidate journey from sourcing to verbal offer. Reporting to the Group Talent Acquisition & Retention Partner, the successful candidate will take ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing active and passive candidates, headhunting, screening, scheduling interviews, and ensuring a seamless recruitment process for Refund Operators in Japan.
The position operates within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, requiring agility and responsiveness in managing multiple recruitment processes at once, often involving diverse contract types such as part-time or fixed-term roles.
Your responsibilities include:
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: source, screen, interview, and support hiring decisions
Ensure a positive and professional experience for all candidates throughout the hiring process
Serve as a point of contact for candidate inquiries
Handle recruitment-related administrative tasks, including job postings and interview scheduling
Maintain accurate recruitment records in the HR database
Liaise with external recruitment agencies when needed
Manage postings and activity across job boards
Provide regular recruitment status reports and analytics
Collaborate closely with the Global Talent Acquisition team, as well as regional/local HR teams and key business stakeholders
Additional responsibilities include stakeholder management, recruitment reporting and support for employer branding initiatives. Ultimately, this role will oversee the governance of the recruitment process for Refund Operators in Japan.

Key competencies to empower your journey. You'll drive towards success if you have:
A diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
Native-level proficiency in Japanese and fluency in English, both written and spoken
Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment, ideally in the service or retail sector
Experience recruiting both full-time and part-time roles, particularly in customer service environments
Experience using HRIS and ATS platforms; Workday experience is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (including pivot tables) and PowerPoint
Familiarity with professional and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc.)
Previous involvement in recruitment projects is highly desirable
