About the company: Global systems business in the automotive sector in Japan
Skills and Requirements: --N2 Japanese AND English Fluency--V-model process, FMEA/FTA, IEC 61508, ISO 26262, ISO 21448, Python, C++ or MATLAB would be nice to have

Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated System Engineer to join my client in delivering innovative and high-quality engineering solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects, applying a structured and methodical approach to the development, validation, and deployment of advanced systems. You will play a key role in ensuring that all systems meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance, while collaborating within a supportive and inclusive team environment.
Responsibilities
As a System Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing, and implementing system solutions that meet project requirements and specifications.
- Conducting system analysis and ensuring compliance with safety, reliability, and performance standards.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and architecture.
- Performing system validation, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal functionality.
- Documenting system designs, processes, and test results for future reference and compliance purposes.
- Identifying and mitigating risks throughout the system development lifecycle.
- Staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve system engineering processes.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in system engineering, including design, development, and validation.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, integration, and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering tools and software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to system engineering is a plus.
Day-to-Day
Your typical day as a System Engineer will involve:
- Collaborating with team members to define project goals and system requirements.
- Designing and developing system components and ensuring seamless integration.
- Conducting rigorous testing and validation to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise.
- Preparing detailed documentation and reports for stakeholders.
- Participating in team meetings to discuss project progress and address challenges.
- Researching and implementing new technologies to enhance system capabilities.
