The Marketing Team at Pure
We are looking for a (Senior) Field Marketing Manager to drive various marketing activities in Japan, and run end-to-end cross-channel marketing programs to support our growing Japan-based sales teams to achieve their targets as well as help drive our brand in the region.
This is a broad marketing role with responsibility for delivering everything from sponsored and hosted events, locally led-campaigns and localization of HQ-led initiatives - through to content production, sales collateral/case study development and overseeing the translation efforts of marketing materials; including channel and digital marketing.
You will be working closely with the local sales team, broader APJ marketing functional teams, cross-functional stakeholders and vendors to drive results. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, proactive and enthusiastic when it comes to managing events, campaigns and programs that help sales teams to be successful. We are looking for a persistent self-starter ready for a great challenge.
This role will be reporting to the Director of Japan Marketing with closely work with APJ Channel Marketing Manager, and will be based in Tokyo, Japan.
What You Will Be Doing
⦁ Generate opportunities/pipeline and accelerate their sales stages through various demand generation marketing activities, including in-person events, executive engagement, ABM, webinars, digital marketing, tele-marketing and others
⦁ Execute a global annual event from end-to-end including strategy/planning, project management and post-event analysis and reporting
⦁ Execute localization of HQ-led campaigns, as well as locally led-campaigns
⦁ Support the production of local customer stories, working with local stakeholders, PR and global Customer Advocacy team
⦁ Amplify activities via PR and our social media channels, working with local PR agency and APJ PR director
⦁ Work closely with APJ Digital Marketing team and external agency for Japan local demand gen and branding activities
⦁ Ensure tracking and reporting of all programs and initiatives - tracking ROI and key learnings
⦁ Maintain responsibility for budget tracking/management for all PRs/POs/Invoices of activities
⦁ Manage activities with MDF for channel partners with/through Japan channel partner team, and monitor the results to maximize ROI, working with APJ Channel Marketing Manager.
⦁ Support Japan Channel Partner Team to execute activities with Partner Enablement Fund to meet their business goals
⦁ Closely work with Japan Channel Partner Team for pan-regional partner marketing programs, such as APJ-wide partner roadshows, etc.
What You Bring To The Team
⦁ yrs experience in an enterprise marketing role within the tech industry, preferably with some partner marketing experience
⦁ Understanding of a broad range of marketing activities and disciplines
⦁ Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
⦁ Strong collaboration and relationship building skills
⦁ Track record of working with sales, channel partners, customers, field/global marketing, and analysts
⦁ High energy and passion with a "can do" attitude
⦁ Ability to work in a small team environment, but also work effectively with the broader APAC business and all cross-organizational functions.
