PCT/MET Engineer 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assures that PCT / MET performance supports plant performance goals related to capacity, operability / availability, economy, compliance, quality, safety, and environment
• Has responsibility (technical, budget, timelines, compliance) for the planning and execution of PCT /MET maintenance and investment projects in the Plant
• Has up-to-date knowledge about relevant internal and external regulations; Assures compliance with local technical and legal rules and with Company policies in the field of PCT / MET
• Has up-to-date knowledge of Bayer Group- and subgroup best practices in the field of PCT / MET and implements them in the Plant
• Has responsibility for identifying, evaluating, and developing PCT / MET modifications and improvements in the Plant
• Is responsible to troubleshoot PCT/MET problems in the plant, modifies maintenance plans and triggers improvement projects to minimize PCT / MET failures
• To support IT Security manager to ensure IT security for the infrastructures in Product Supply Japan (MITS)
• To support digital projects in Digital Load Map in Shiga
• Is responsible for creating and maintaining Plant technical documentation

WHO YOU ARE:

• Bachelor or Master degree in ICA- (Instrumentation, Control, Automation) Engineering or related fields
• Thorough understanding of PCS concepts / practices and good understanding of maintenance and project management
• Good knowledge of Engineering tools and software - SAP, MES, etc. 
• Fluent in Japanese
• Business English
