What will you do?
As a Product Owner for our HMI communication software, you will be at the heart of driving innovation and usability for our industrial automation solutions. Your impactful responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and defining specifications and requirements for HMI software.
- Creating detailed specification documents and intuitive storyboards.
- Collaborating closely with development teams to guide and support the software development process.
- Understanding user needs and translating them into a clear product vision.
- Managing and prioritizing the product backlog to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Communicating effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Reviewing customer inquiries and coordinating responses with developers.

To excel in this role, you'll bring:
- Experience in the manufacturing industry, especially with factory equipment.
- Hands-on experience as a user, support engineer, or developer of factory systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams.
- Logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in English; Japanese language skills are a plus.
- A user-centric mindset and ability to translate technical needs into actionable development goals.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
Required:
- Experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Background in using or supporting factory equipment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Logical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of HMI design or development.
- Experience in product management and Agile methodologies.
- Japanese language proficiency.
- Programming experience in C, C++, and C#.
- Experience in Windows and Linux application development.
