A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As an Applications Engineering Manager at MKS Japan, you will partner with Applications and Sales. In this role, you will report to Sales Director.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Manages both the pre-sales and post-sales activities, providing technical product marketing support for the development and implementation of customer applications dealing with complex products, such as operating systems and capital equipment
• Develops detailed customer installation and/or system integration plans
• Publishes technical articles regarding specific applications
• Works with marketing and product managers to define new products
• Serves as company liaison on specific technical projects with customers
• May provide product feasibility analysis in support of sales efforts with sales representatives
• Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
Required Skills:
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree required
• Master's Degree preferred
• 5+ years of related experience
Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
• This job operates in a professional office environment
