As an Oracle POS Consultant at Amaris, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle's Point of Sale systems, primarily Simphony POS and related solutions within the hospitality and retail sectors.
You will play a key role in ensuring smooth deployment, system optimization, and end-user satisfaction by delivering expert guidance and technical support to our clients.
Your missionsLead and participate in Oracle POS implementation projects, focusing on Simphony POS and Xstore Point of Service solutions.
Configure, test, and deploy POS systems based on client requirements and operational workflows.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing Oracle POS environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration with other enterprise systems (ERP, payment gateways, reporting tools, etc.).
Conduct system training sessions and knowledge transfer for end-users and client technical teams.
Contribute to documentation, configuration standards, and process improvement initiatives.
Support clients throughout the full project lifecycle — from scoping and design to post-go-live stabilization.
Your profile
Fluent in Japanese and English (written and spoken).
Proven experience with Oracle POS solutions (Simphony POS, MICROS POS, or Xstore).
Understanding of POS implementation processes and system integration principles.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced consulting environment.
Prior experience in hospitality, retail, or related industries is a plus.
