Who is our Client?
Our client is a global technology platform that has had a truly impressive growth story in Japan in a very short space of time. Our client employs over five-hundred people, is deeply connected with the broader global business and equally committed to created a truly Japan-centric local entity.
They are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join the BI team in Japan and help the local business to make smart, data-driven business decisions. If you are looking for a place where you can gain hands-on exposure and have direct impact, then this could be an interesting role to explore.
What would you be doing?
- Providing data analysis and insight to leadership and functional teams to support data-driven decision making, performance reviewing and growth plan in Japan.
- Developing performance tracking models, key metrics and automated dashboards to visualize performance status and find optimization points effectively.
- Collecting required data from a large data set, using SQL and BI tools.
- Collaborating with data engineers build robust data pipelines, and maintain clear data structures and definitions.
Who are you?
- More than 5 years experience in a data analytics / business intelligence role.
- Strong communication skills to work as a team player.
- Strong business mindset and ability to grasp business requirements from stakeholders.
- Champion of data and visualization with data story-telling skills.
- Ability to write clean, structured, and high performance SQL on big data.
- Knowledge with big data, Data Warehouse technologies, Python or R, is a plus.
- Experience in developing automated dashboards is a plus.
- SFDC experience is a plus.
- e-Commerce industry experience is a plus.
- Business level English required and Japanese language is a plus.
