Job Description
The position involves overseeing the migration of complex IT infrastructure to cloud-based platforms, aiming to optimize overall performance.
- Design and build cloud environments for clients, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality.
- Provide technical support for cloud infrastructure, leveraging expertise in cloud services from major vendors like AWS and Microsoft Azure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, implement, and maintain intricate cloud-based systems for clients, taking into account scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
- Assess and deploy suitable cloud-native solutions, considering factors such as availability, performance, and compliance.
- Evaluate, design, and deliver complex architecture for cloud technology platforms, combining on-premises and cloud capabilities.
- Operate and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams to streamline cloud adoption, optimizing service delivery and minimizing downtime.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in requirements definition, design, development, testing, and operation, encompassing both on-premises and cloud computing environments.
- Proficiency in designing and building comprehensive cloud architecture, incorporating various cloud technologies.
- Practical knowledge of implementing cloud-native solutions, balancing technical requirements with business needs.
- Expertise in evaluating and selecting cloud providers based on functional and non-functional criteria, including availability, performance, security, and cost.
- Hands-on experience with operating systems (Windows Server, Linux).
- Bilingual proficiency in Japanese (native level) and English (moderate spoken and written).
- Certifications from major cloud vendors (AWS, Azure) and a solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Programming language skills are not essential but having some programming experience (Java, C#, Python, SQL, Shell, etc.) can be beneficial.
