Our Data Center team manages and operates these facilities, supporting AWS's innovative suite of Cloud Computing services and building the foundation of the digital world.

Leadership & Execution
- Lead and develop a team of 8-12 data center technicians
- Drive operational excellence through established frameworks
- Identify and mitigate risks with clear escalation paths

Your primary focus is leading a data center team that maintains critical infrastructure for cloud services. Morning starts with safety-focused team standups and site walks to connect with your technicians.
You'll spend time mentoring team members, reviewing operational metrics, and collaborating with facilities, engineering, and vendor teams to ensure smooth operations.
Beyond routine activities, you'll tackle interesting technical challenges - from capacity planning to emergency response.You might find yourself brainstorming process improvements with your team, participating in cross-site initiatives, or working with stakeholders to implement new technologies.

The Infrastructure Operations team handles the various physical layers for AWS data centers, including the infrastructure and on-site operations.
We are a team of professionals and engineers, actively working in positions ranging from the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of servers and network equipment, to facility operations, managing power and air-conditioning systems, to risk management, project management, security, logistics and inventory control.
We are the team who keeps the data centers up and running 24/7, the backbone of AWSBasic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of data center engineering or operations experience
- 3+ years of managing technical teams with significant personnel management experience and examples of developing engineers and building successful teams experience
- Language Requirements: Japanese: JLPT N2 or higher | English: CEFR B1.2+/TOEIC 800+ or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Knowledge of data center infrastructure design, operations, or delivery
- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting largescale infrastructure
- Experience with missioncritical, 24x7 operations
