Lead IT team in steering game and studio success. Foster creative and productive development environment. Provide comprehensive support to artists, designers, programmers, and office personnel. Ensure seamless functionality of workstations, software, and peripherals.
Dynamic and diverse IT Manager role in a team of artists from various countries. Implement cutting-edge IT solutions to enhance productivity and support ambitious game creation. Ensure systems remain impervious to potential threats and fortify against cyber risks.
- Infrastructure Management: Construct and manage network and server infrastructure for game projects. Utilize cloud services and implement optimal hosting solutions. Introduce and maintain information infrastructure for high-quality solutions and service levels. Maintain and implement IT and information security policies and procedures.
- Security: Plan and execute security measures for game data and system security. Respond to incidents and formulate security policies.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with development, design, and operations teams. Understand IT needs in game production and provide support based on them. Design and construct IT, AV, and security for UNSEEN's new studio.
- Technical Strategy: Keep abreast of the latest technological trends and best practices. Formulate technical strategies for optimizing and streamlining the game development process. Continuously follow changing IT trends, adopt industry best practices, and drive continuous improvement and advancement in digital solutions.
- Project Management: Plan, execute, monitor, and evaluate IT projects. Effectively manage budgets and resources.
- IT Environment and PC Setup for New Employees: Arrange necessary IT equipment and software for new employees. Configure and troubleshoot PCs and IT environments for new employees.
Requirements:
- 5 years or more of experience in IT service management, networking, infrastructure, systems, and information security.
- Proficient in project management, tools, and project development lifecycle with a solid understanding of the latest technological trends.
- Experience in information security, in-house IT, and information infrastructure-related tasks in the gaming industry.
- Experience in security management and incident response.
- Previous experience as an IT manager in the gaming industry.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
- Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese.
- Curiosity, kindness, and a positive and professional execution mindset.

- Passion for gaming.
- Able to commute to Tokyo.
- TOEIC score of 800 or above.
- Confident in communication and negotiation skills.
