Job Summary:

As a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer at onsemi's premier 200mm manufacturing facility, you will work in a dynamic team environment and oversee the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Each day you will be challenged by working on a diverse set of tools with a world-class team.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities

  • Maintain current records on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
  • Study equipment performance and reliability and make recommendations to increase overall stability of performance of the tools.
  • Establish programs and solutions for increasing tool uptime/reliability and improving product quality.
  • Provide hands on technical and maintenance support when necessary.
  • Define and write preventative maintenance schedules, BKM's, and other maintenance procedures.
  • Drive, maintain, and support continual improvement projects including OEE teams, part sourcing, and in-house repair.
  • May provide leadership by mentoring and training maintenance technicians.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  1. Experience in the semiconductor industry, especially CVD process engineering for over 10years.
  2. Experience of FILM process and/or equipment engineering (or equivalent role)
  3. Business English skill (TOEIC 490)
  4. University degree or above 
  5. Preferred experience at foreign company
  6. Leadership skills, 
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience 
  • Must possess good interpersonal, teamwork, leadership, and communication skills
  • Practical knowledge of electronic and electromechanical systems and controls
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work a standard shift - Monday through Friday

Preferred

  • In-depth knowledge of Pump and Abatement equipment including general theory of operation.
  • Experience analyzing system performance data including typical PM parameters as well as production pre-alignment and dynamic performance.
  • Experience training and leading others.
  • At least a high-level understanding of Films process fundamentals
