This role is crucial in selecting a logistics service provider to support Bosch Japan Business (mainly for automotive companies). You will be responsible for selecting and managing 25 warehouses across Japan, as well as designing a transportation network that connects these warehouses, main domestic factories, and overseas bases.
Specifically, you will:
- Conduct market research, select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage suppliers
- Collaborate with the logistics planning department, business department, and factory to select suppliers for logistics improvement
- Verify and implement proper invoicing and ordering content
Currently, the logistics management report line is overseen by an overseas supervisor (based in Malaysia), so you will be responsible for timely reporting, and regularly visiting overseas bases and conducting strategy planning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Purchasing for indirect materials and services for logistics (supplier selection, contracting, purchase orders, and supplier management)
- Supplier selections with related divisions
- Regular contact with the leader in overseas (information exchange by telecon, workshop, etc.)
- Information exchange with other regional members

Requirements:
- TK4-TK5, P1-1
- Must:
- Business-level English (TOEIC 700+), native-level Japanese
- Interest in logistics (warehouses, transportation), and enjoy visiting logistics sites
- Experience in purchasing at manufacturing industries
- Ability to calculate costs and negotiate proper prices
- Ability to present in both Japanese and English (TOEIC 750+)
