A student dormitory brand providing accommodation to students in Tokyo with an international environment and a space for personal growth. Currently operating dormitory is located in Nishi Waseda (7mins walk from Waseda Campus).

About the Role:

You will primarily assist with the operation of our SNS platforms (Instagram, TikTok, RED, YouTube). Specific anticipated tasks are as follows:

  • Planning and creating content (scripts, etc.) in Chinese related to our managed dormitories.
  • Recruiting Chinese-speaking collaborators and assisting with the filming of PR and marketing videos (SHOULD be OK to appear in the videos as needed).
  • Supporting content creation for Chinese Marketing (including native check, copy writing, translation, creating subtitles).
  • Developing and executing strategies for disseminating information such as videos and announcements to the target Chinese student demographic.
  • Take charge of any inquiries we receive in Chinese language.
  • Manage Xiaohongshu (rednote) and WeChat accounts.
  • Participate in dormitory events and capture/produce contents.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree completed or currently enrolled in a 4-year university.
  • Native-level proficiency in both Chinese and English (essential) and Japanese is a plus.
  • High communication skills to build friendly relationships with potential customers, including existing U Share community members.
  • Basic operational skills in Microsoft, Google, Discord, and other cloud tools.
  • Valid residence card with permission (資格外活動許可) to work part-time.
  • Must be from China, Taiwan, or Hong Kong currently using WeChat, Xiaohongshu, and other Chinese platforms.

Preferred:

  • Practical experience in community management and event planning/management.
  • Experience living in a dormitory.
  • Preferential given to those who can give the most time and are willing to produce UGC-style content themselves.

Work Location:
Hybrid (Remote work, Shibuya Main Office, U Share dormitory in Nishi-Waseda)

Compensation:
1,500 JPY per hour
