Description

We are a fashion-focused e-commerce site, Rakuten Fashion. Rakuten Ichiba is a mall-type business that provides a platform for stores to sell their products, in contrast to Rakuten Fashion, which is a direct sales-type business where Rakuten selects and buys brands and products on its own, and handles marketing, sales, shipping, and customer support.

This site selects products from Japan's major select stores and brands, focusing on popular and well-known brands such as nano・universe, URBAN RESEARCH, BEAMS, snidel, and GLOBAL WORK. The number of international brands has been increasing in the last few years.

We are trying to achieve very high mid-term goals and are continuing to make large investments in the following areas:
  • Promote the development of loyal customers through the development and enhancement of smartphone applications.
  • Promote the acquisition of new customers through continuous mass marketing such as TV commercials.
  • Strengthen the system platform to enhance service quality.

Why We Hire

While consumer's lifestyle changes after COVID-19, apparel industry companies strengthen EC and put strong expectation on our Fashion EC business.

We have been continuing huge investment on Fashion EC for making big success on mid-term strategy.

In this context, the company has been considering business with many luxury and designer brands, and has now launched a new team dedicated to "Rakuten Fashion".

We are looking for a person in charge as a business partner who can achieve not only sales after opening a store but also many other goals set by the brand.

Position Details

To meet sales budget for accounting brands, make a strategy of promotion and ads, negotiate with brands about promotion and ads, conduct PDCA based on strategy.

Decide and conduct it to expand a line of products and optimize the number of stocks.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Experience in the fashion industry.

Good communicator / Good negotiator.

Logical thinking.

Problem solving skills.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience of e-commerce business.

Basic knowledge of EC, SCM and basic systems.

Additional information on English Qualification

TOEIC Score exceeding 800 (or similar level of English ability) or a University Degree earned in an English-speaking country.

*TOEIC Score of 600 or higher is acceptable for fixed-term employees.

In this case, it is necessary to achieve a TOEIC Score exceeding 800 after joining Rakuten to be eligible to become a regular employee.

If no evidence is available to prove the qualifications denoted above, taking an IP test, organized by Rakuten, during selection process is required.
