Future Asset Management KK (FAM) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Gunkul Engineering Public Company Limited (GUNKUL), based in Japan. Our core businesses are Asset Management and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of renewable energy assets. We currently manage two large-scale solar power plants and continue to expand our portfolio. We are now seeking a new team member to support finance and accounting operations related to both our existing and future assets. The position is based in Tokyo, Japan. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience working in Japan, develop a career in the renewable energy industry, and learn directly from experienced Japanese professionals within an international working environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions.
- Prepare and initiate online banking applications and related payment procedures.
- Support internal payment approval and expense reimbursement processes.
- Coordinate and communicate with external accounting firms, banks, and other relevant parties.
- Assist in preparing financial documents, reports, and data as required by management.
- Support other general administrative or finance-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Finance, or other related fields. Educational background in Japan would be an advantage.
- Experience: 2–5 years of working experience, preferably in accounting, finance, or business management. Experience in asset management or the renewable energy sector would be an advantage.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in Japanese or English is required. Candidates with strong Japanese skills are not required to have English proficiency. Candidates with strong English skills are also welcome, provided they are willing to study Japanese.
- Computer skills: Good command of basic office software, including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Working Hours: Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 (with a one-hour break). Flexible working hours may apply depending on the nature and requirements of the work.
