éShop Creative Studios is seeking a visionary Art Director to join our Tokyo
studio, where you will establish and scale creative direction across multiple
content production workflows including photography, video, and generative AI. In
this role, you will own the visual identity and quality standards for
high-volume content programs, translating business requirements and brand
guidelines into scalable visual frameworks that maintain creative excellence at
production speed. You will build mechanisms for creative quality assurance,
identify systemic gaps using data and stakeholder feedback, and define standards
for emerging AI-generated content. The role requires a strong creative leader
who can mentor talent, influence cross-functional teams, and present confidently
to senior leadership while balancing creative integrity with operational
efficiency. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in visual design,
understands how to scale creative standards across large teams, and is
comfortable making trade-off decisions between quality, efficiency, and
scalability. You will play a critical role in shaping how Japan's marketplace
content looks and feels to millions of customers. If you believe great design
can be both beautiful and systematic, this is your role.
At Amazon, you'll work alongside the latest AI and GenAI tools that are
increasingly woven into how teams operate: from AI-powered capabilities that
accelerate decision-making, to Generative AI that helps you focus on work that
truly matters. You'll have opportunities and resources to develop AI fluency at
your own pace, with continuous learning built into the culture.
